Which is better- Sky or Virgin?

Currently have Sky TV(box, internet&phone line) but will be moving house & have the option of staying with Sky or getting Virgin Media in(couldn't have virgin in current house because of area etc, did have virgin in past & found it cheap but basic but that was nearly 10yrs ago,times have changed!) What are people's opinions? which one do you think is better? we currently find sky expensive, repetitive&the customer service a nightmare but feel as if we are in a position of 'better the devil you know' kind of thing as our own research came up with the conclusion they are both about the same. any advice and opinions much appreciated!
